Ordering & Payment:

Orders are not completed until processed by us in our store. You will be notified of any additional charges as needed (packing, shipping, modifications, etc.). Payment in full is expected in advance of any shipping or modification. A completed order is one that has been paid in full, with or without any pending shipping or modifications.  

Returns Policy:

Internet Purchases:  Due to the nature of internet sales, it is not possible for our website customers to physically examine the products that they are interested in buying. As a result, we do allow returns and refunds if a customer is not completely satisfied with an item purchased via the internet. Special ordered items, custom work and shipping costs are not returnable.   

We must be contacted immediately by phone at 734-483-6980 to arrange/discuss a return. Refunds will be issued after the merchandise is returned to the store in the same condition as it was sent out. We require the item(s) to be back in our possession within 30 days. 

In-Store Purchases:  Items purchased in-store may be returned within 30 days of purchase date for store credit only. Special ordered items, custom work and shipping costs are not returnable.   

Warranty Disclaimers:

THE SELLER MAKES NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES AS TO THE GOODS SOLD, other than specific written statements on the face hereof. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF. The seller's sales staff may have made oral statements about the merchandise. Such statements are not warranties, are not to be relied on by the buyer, and are not part of this sales agreement. The goods sold under this agreement are sold "AS IS" "WITH ALL FAULTS”.

All sales are final. The seller reserves the right to accept timely returns of goods for exchange or store credit WITH A RESTOCKING CHARGE. Any balance owing of this sale must be paid, and all goods must be claimed, with 30 days after this sales, and paid within 30 days after this sale and the completion of buyers order. If all goods are not paid within 30 days, the goods will be subjected to resale; the buyer's account will be credited the money paid. The buyer's account will be charged a reasonable storage fee plus 15% of the total sale for restocking. 

A reasonable monthly storage fee will be charged to the customer if the sale is paid and goods are left unclaimed beginning 60 days after this sale.

Do you sell or trade customer e-mail addresses?
No. We never sell, rent, or trade e-mail addresses.

Does Materials Unlimited acquire names and addresses?
Yes.  Our customer list is comprised of voluntary information.  At some point in the future, we may acquire names and addresses from third parties.

What kind of information will I be asked to provide?
When you place an order, request e-mail updates, or participate in a promotion, contest or survey, we may ask for some or all of the following: your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. If placing an order, we may ask for credit card information.

We maintain a record of your online and store purchases. If you ship your order to an address different from your billing address, we will ask you to enter the Ship To name and address. If you use Email-to-a-Friend, you will be asked for the e-mail address of the recipient(s). We never use these e-mail addresses for any other purpose.

How will Materials Unlimited use the information I provide?
Your information is used to process and deliver your order to the address you request. Your payment information allows us to bill your credit card company. If we have any questions regarding your order, we will contact you by phone or e-mail. If you make a purchase, we may send you information and updates about new products, special sales, and promotions. We use both e-mail and postal addresses to share information with our customers. When you supply e-mail addresses in Email-to-a-Friend, we use those addresses only for the purpose you intend.

Do I need a password to order online from
Yes. In your account we can store your name, address and contact information so you don't have to enter that information during future shopping visits.

How do I update my personal information?
You can update your information online in your account. Log in with your e-mail address and password, and then click Personal Information. Your account information will be displayed as we currently have it in our system. If you have any difficulties, give us a call at (734) 483-6980. We are available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tues – Sat and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sun ET.

Does use cookies? does use cookies to make your shopping experience more efficient, convenient and personalized. Cookies are not required for you to browse our site, however, they are required for you to shop our site or to place an order.

How do I discontinue promotional e-mails?
At the bottom of each e-mail is information about removing your name from our e-mail list. Our promotions are prepared in advance, so it may take a few days for the change to take effect, and you may receive e-mails during that time.

After you make a purchase, for your convenience we will still send e-mail order confirmations and information about your order. We may also contact you by phone or mail if we have questions regarding your order.
